Led by Ole Schaper and Mark Buchholz, Sviper has over 25 years of combined experience collaborating with top brands in mobile, PC, and multiplayer gaming. Currently, Sviper has 40 team members and is hiring more talent to focus on Metaverse centered development.
According to Sebastien Borget, cofounder and COO of The Sandbox, the acquisition has supercharged the platform’s creative potential. The Hamburg team is already advancing the gameplay possibilities available to internal teams and The Sandbox creators at large by adding social features, designing rules for prototype game logic, and implementing powerful multiplayer features.
Arthur Madrid, cofounder and CEO of The Sandbox, shares Borget’s sentiments and has built a high level of trust with The Sandbox Germany team. Both parties are thrilled by the potential of working together, as noted by Schaper, who expresses excitement about contributing to the creation of a cutting-edge virtual world that combines gaming, creativity, and community.
