This was made possible by the introduction of a digital fan experience that incorporates generative art. By owning these NFTs, fans can also participate in voting during live shows and have access to any other material restricted to token owners.
After years of consideration, this initiative will set an example for other industry players looking to provide similar experiences to their audiences. To bring its NFT strategy to life, Fox created Blockchain Creative Labs (BCL) in 2021. Over the next two years, the company and its blockchain branch collaborated with various prominent Web3 companies, including MoonPay, Alchemy, and Web3Auth, to create an interactive experience known as “The Maskverse.”
Now, viewers of the popular singing show, currently in its ninth season, can register for a free “Loyalty Pass” by linking their crypto wallets, such as MetaMask. Those without a wallet need not worry, as they can create a new one on the official website by using a social media profile.

Upon acquiring a loyalty pass, fans will enjoy a range of benefits, including the opportunity to vote for their preferred character during live broadcasts of “The Masked Singer” using portable devices to scan accessible QR codes.
