One Championship, a prominent Singapore-based mixed martial arts (MMA) organization, has announced a partnership with Animoca Brands subsidiary, Notre Game, to create an MMA mobile game incorporating non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The mobile strategy fighting game, titled One Fight Arena, aims to provide fans with an immersive digital experience of the sport.
The game is scheduled for release in early 2024, with a select group of players testing it later this year. One Fight Arena’s characters will be supported by NFTs, enabling players to verify their authenticity and track their history. Additionally, the game will be available as a free-to-play title, allowing individuals to enjoy it without engaging with NFTs.
Hua Fung Teh, One Championship co-founder and group president, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We’re thrilled to work with an industry leader in Animoca Brands to launch One Fight Arena, our first Web3-enhanced video game.”

One Fight Arena is expected to showcase One Championship’s roster of elite fighters and focus on strategic gameplay from a first-person perspective, simulating each fighter’s experience from the beginning of their careers. Yat Siu, executive chairman of Animoca Brands, believes the partnership presents mobile gaming fans with a unique opportunity to experience true digital ownership. He said, “Our partnership with One to create One Fight Arena will enable the fans of the world’s largest martial arts organization to access a novel gaming experience with true digital ownership at its core.”
This collaboration comes as Asia emerges as a leader in the Web3 gaming market. A recent report from DappRadar highlights the continent’s potential to dominate the burgeoning Web3 gaming industry.
