The site incorporates both artificial intelligence (AI) and NFT tech, and is aimed at providing a unique shopping experience to visitors.
One of the exciting features of KNXT is the introduction of an AI-powered chatbot named ‘/madeline’, which is powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT, and is the first of its kind. This personal shopper is capable of recommending products from a variety of the group’s brands, including Gucci, Bottega Venetia, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, and more.

As a demonstration of the bot’s capabilities, we asked it to find us a pair of black men’s cargo pants with a budget of $500 USD. The bot responded by recommending the Men’s Large Cargo Trousers from Balenciaga, providing detailed information on the product, including origin and care instructions, and a link to the Balenciaga website where they could be purchased.
In addition to using the AI-powered chatbot, visitors to KNXT can also shop a variety of the group’s brands, both women’s and men’s items, and can check out using ETH by connecting a wallet. Currently, the site only ships to eligible states in the U.S.
For the first 100 visitors to make a purchase using a Web3 wallet, KNXT is airdropping NFTs from its ‘La Première’ collection, which features illustrated owl characters wearing luxury clothing. This promotion is a unique way of introducing customers to the concept of NFTs, and it also serves as an incentive for customers to use the site’s cryptocurrency payment options.
While Kering has not made any public statements regarding KNXT or /madeline, the privacy policy section of the site mentions the luxury group 43 different times and indicates that they are behind it. Additionally, KNXT social media channels have promoted a variety of the group’s brands.
