AI Arena has announced the launch of the Treasure Cup tournament, with a prize pool of $100,000 for the TreasureDAO ecosystem. The tournament will run throughout April and feature more than 100 participants divided into teams, who will compete for individual and team awards. These awards will include NFTs, $NRN tokens, $MAGIC, an airdrop, and other exciting rewards, to be announced shortly. Qualification for the tournament is scheduled for mid-April, with the main event taking place at the end of the month.
To participate in the Treasure Cup, interested parties must register on the AI Arena platform and form a team of three players. The qualification stage will be held in a round-robin format, and then the top 16 teams will advance to the playoffs. At the end of the tournament, the team with the most points will receive a grand prize of $30,000, as well as a host of other prizes.
For those unfamiliar with AI Arena, it is an online platform where players can compete against each other in various games using AI. The platform has previously hosted tournaments for popular games such as Dota 2 and Starcraft 2. The launch of the Treasure Cup tournament marks the release of the new game, Treasure Hunters, a free-to-play adventure MMO where players embark on a journey across a mysterious island in search of treasure. To succeed, players must collect resources, build bases, and upgrade their characters to defeat other players and claim treasures.
