Aavegotchi, the community-owned NFT gaming protocol, is preparing to launch its new Gotchichain, a blockchain specifically designed for all things Aavegotchi. Gotchichain will utilize Polygon Supernets, a technology that enhances gaming performance by providing faster transaction times, lower gas fees, and superior scalability. Polygon Supernets are permissioned offshoots of the Polygon POS network, where any user can transact, but only specific developers can deploy contracts. Gotchichain will allow Aavegotchi-themed games and Dapps to flourish by capitalizing on the reduced fees and faster confirmation times. On Gotchichain, the eco-governance token of Aavegotchi, $GHST, will be used as the gas token for all transactions. While Aavegotchi assets will continue to be minted on the Polygon POS, they can be easily bridged to Gotchichain, ensuring a seamless gaming experience for users.
